A crazy weekend in TJ
Man, I just had one crazy-ass weekend in Tijuana. First off, my friend and his girlfriend came to pick me up at my house and dropped the road trip bomb on me (i.e. "aye, lets go to TJ for the weekend")
So we get across the border at like 3 in the morning, all lit off of 2 j's we rolled, and had the best damn tacos I've ever had in my life. I mean seriously, it was the best carne asada and chorizo tacos I've ever tasted.
Then we went and chilled at my friend's uncle's beach house in the playas.
On Saturday, we walked around the central part of TJ or wherever, pretty much just to pass the time for a lil bit while we waited for my friends gf to finish gettin her hair done. (My friend's ucle is a professional hair stylist)
Then we come to Sat nite, where the fun really begins. We bought this crazy bottle of tequila and just go at it like savages. I mean we had like 6-7 shots in like half an hour. And that was just our starter set. We then go out to all the clubs and stuff and get even more drunk off our asses, partying it up with all the cute lil mexicali girls.
We called the nite at like 3 in the morning, go back to that taco stand, and just have a splendid lil feast.
The next morning, after chillin on our hangovers for a lil bit, we eat and go for a lil shopping. I had to get my girl at least a little somethin from TJ. And man, I just love how bad the economy over there is-though I do sympathize with them as well. I bought my lady a nice lucky jean-skirt that normally would have run me like $60 for just 160 pesos (about 16-17 USD)
So, all in all, it was a pretty amazing trip, though I got some food poisoning from somethin I ate/drank over there.
I made this thread so that everyone can share their own "TJ" stories, so......
Post your own.

12eckoning, if you're that offensive to everyone, just don't bother to post again
and Squizzard45, Is TJ something to do with "Getting drunk" or er... having one of the worst holidays or after-holidays? I'd like to know so I could post about my time AFTER a holiday in Windermere!

Yeah...sorry.... TJ = Tijuana, Mexico. Its right across the border like 15 mins away from San Diego, California. Pretty much most people from like around the san diego area go to Tijuana to party it up on the weekend.
And please yes, post about ur good times after ur holiday in Windermere. That's what this thread is for!!

rule of thumb, never, i mean never eat anything down there except drinking beer. if you do eat, go to a clean restaurant, not some food stand along the streets. anyway, it's pretty fun down there but it gets boring after a while. you should've brought your gf with you. i hate the drive though. i live in LA and it's a pretty long drive
